We have not yet finished digesting the strong emotions of last Saturday in Austria but the caravan of the Freeride World Tour is back on the move. The time window set for the Ordino-ArcalÃs stage, the capital of the Pyrenees freeride in Andorra, runs from 2 to 8 March.

The effective date will be as usual established in the days immediately preceding the event according to the conditions of the weather and snow cover, but at the moment everything leaves hope for a possible race already Saturday 2.
Freeride Italy is experiencing an extremely positive moment, with our two athletes competing ahead of the men's and women's ski categories. After the race in Austria last Saturday, Markus Eder dominates his category undisputed: he comes from three consecutive victories and has now separated the Swedish Kristofer Turdell by a good 2220 points. A new victory or good position in Andorra could now decree the mathematical victory for our compatriot.

Last year Markus had closed the season second just behind the Swede.
Arianna Tricomi arrived only sixth last week in Austria, but continues at the top of the general classification of women's skiing followed closely by Jacqueline Pollard. Last year he finished the season in first position.
For snowboards at the moment dominate the games instead the French Victor De Le Rue (male) and Marion Haerty (female).
With this stage the athletes in the race play the qualification to the final of Verbier and with it the access to the season 2020 of the Tour. The tension is high and some riders are playing all for everything.

Benjamin Karl fa marcia indietro: il campione olimpico del PGS torna allo snowboard verso il Mondiale di casa
Dopo aver annunciato lo scorso marzo il ritiro dall'attività, fresco del leggendario bis olimpico, il 40enne fuoriclasse austriaco aveva avviato un progetto legato alla bicicletta, sua enorme passione, con l'obiettivo dei Giochi del 2030 nel ciclocross (che non è stato inserito nel programma per la rassegna sulle Alpi francesi). Sono cambiate alcune cose e ho capito di essere semplicemente uno snowboarder che si diverte tantissimo sui pedali. Punterà soprattutto ai campionati del mondo di Montafon che a marzo chiuderanno la stagione.
