It's been several days that the competition was postponed because of snow conditions, but finally last Friday, March 24 epic Alaskan mountains are shown in all their glory by giving a spectacular competition terrain.

The 27 athletes still in the race competed on the steep 760m facade simply called "The Venue" giving great show, and our Arianna Tricomi was awarded the top step of the podium with a run of great impact, firm and fast since starting with spectacular jumps that have impressed the judges and determined his second podium of the season and secured a place of honor for the final. The three will compete for the world title giving all out at Xtreme Verbier.
The day, however, was open with the men's snowboard, in which once again ranked first Sammy Luebke (USA), anchored firmly to the upper reaches of the standings, with a really thrilling ride and jumps to be amazed. Sammy conquers law the title of world snowboard champion after a growing season with the wind always at your back. Excellent descent of local Ryland Bell (USA), which was granted a wild card and has leveraged its extensive experience in the Alaskan territory, finishing second.
In the men's skiing it was great again show between French compatriots Loïc Collomb-Patton and Léo Slemett, where the former has finally prevailed with a 360 ° "alien" in the upper part of the ground of race. By the accounts at the end of the season the chances for the title are more open than ever with un''inedita overall standings where the two French level on points with Kirstoffer Turdell (SWE), whose race yesterday has instead ended with a fall.
For the women's snowboard Shannan Yates (USA) is one step closer to the world title he won first place by choosing the most technical part of the competition area for its descent, showing great confidence and closing several challenging jumps. Second Haerty Marion (FRA) who fails so to put in the safe world title.
The descents of the athletes were evaluated by the judges considering five parameters: the selected line, fluidity, control, style and jumps and then the technique.
We are now just a step away from the final Xtreme Verbier which will be held between 1 and 9 April in the famous Swiss resort but will be awarded to the champions of the Freeride World.
