We have not yet had time to digest the emotions of the last week's race in Andorra that the Freeride World Tour athletes have already moved to Fieberbrunn, Austria, for the decisive stage that will decide who will have access to the grand final in Switzerland.

The race will be held in a window between March 9th and 15th, and this is the last opportunity for riders to earn a place at the Xtreme Verbier. Of the 48 athletes at the start of the season, only the first 13 male skiers and 6 women skiers in the standings and the first 6 men snowboarders and the first 4 women will pass the round.
The winners will be able to play in the final in the freeride homeland in Verbier, Switzerland, in April, and continue to fight for the title of world champions in Freeride and for the qualification for the Tour of next year.
This is an exceptional year for Italian athletes in the race. Arianna Tricomi is unstoppable at a gallop of an amazing season where she always climbed on the highest steps of the podium: two first places and one second. In the race in Andorra has also really overcome all the opponents and got a very high score thanks to an aggressive line in which a girl has closed a 360 ° for the first time in the history of the Tour.

In the men's skiing the South Tyrolean Markus Eder - an athlete of international standing who boasts in his career the participation in the Olympics of Sochi and travel around the world to make freeride films - is now third in the general classification, a position that allows him to face the Fieberbrunn test with relative tranquility.
Eyes focused on the mountains of the Austrian Tyrol, for the fourth stage of the Freeride World Tour, as usual live on Neveitalia.

Benjamin Karl fa marcia indietro: il campione olimpico del PGS torna allo snowboard verso il Mondiale di casa
Dopo aver annunciato lo scorso marzo il ritiro dall'attività, fresco del leggendario bis olimpico, il 40enne fuoriclasse austriaco aveva avviato un progetto legato alla bicicletta, sua enorme passione, con l'obiettivo dei Giochi del 2030 nel ciclocross (che non è stato inserito nel programma per la rassegna sulle Alpi francesi). Sono cambiate alcune cose e ho capito di essere semplicemente uno snowboarder che si diverte tantissimo sui pedali. Punterà soprattutto ai campionati del mondo di Montafon che a marzo chiuderanno la stagione.
