Friuli Venezia Giulia offers approximately 100 kilometers of slopes served by 41 ski lifts and 34 carpets distributed in the six districts of the region (Piancavallo, Sappada, Forni di Sopra-Sauris, Zoncolan, Tarvisio, Sella Nevea). The choice was to block the prices of the ski passes (39.50 euros for the day pass in high season) to allow ski lovers to use the slopes without increasing prices; in addition, those who choose the poles of Forni di Sopra and Sella Nevea will have a 10 percent discount on day tickets, ski @ hours in the day and multi-day tickets.Also in Sella Nevea with the ticket purchased it will be possible to ski only on the Italian side: of the health situation, in fact, the single ticket has been suspended and to ski in both Italian and Slovenian ski areas, it will be necessary to buy tickets separately.
The desire to get back on the slopes and reconnect your skis is very strong to relive the emotions along the tracks of the six poles of the region, but there is also the possibility of taking walks in the snow in the silence of the woods, going with snowshoes. to discover nature, or take advantage of the many excursions proposed on the paths to the mountain peaks.
THE NEW GIRO D'ITALIA CHAIRLIFT ON THE ZONCOLAN
Among the novelties, the new chairlift "Giro d’Italia" makes its debut on the Zoncolan, the first six-seater chairlift in the region and certainly the pearl of the news for this 2021/2022 ski season. The completely renovated facility is located in one of the symbolic locations for lovers of skiing, but also of cycling: called the Kaiser, known as one of the toughest climbs for athletes, the Zoncolan houses the new facility that can be used even in the hottest season to transport bikes.
FAMILIES ALWAYS IN THE FRONT ROW IN FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA
In Friuli all children born after 1 January 2015 always ski for free, without conditionals. Children born after January 1st 2008 pay a maximum of 10 Euros for a ski pass, even during the Christmas holidays or at Carnival.
