Rossignol Hero, Master and Hi-Speed: here are the 2022-23 news already on sale

What better occasion than the Kitzbühel White Circus weekend to present a preview of the new Hero range, the top of the Rossignol range, with FIS-compliant products for athletes, but also race carve skis and boots that carry Cup technology. World to top skiers? The new Heroes were unveiled just today, Friday 21 January 2022, and some models, together with other selected 2022/23 novelties of the cockerel brand, are already available in pre-launch in the best sporting goods stores in Italy. Hero Elite ST and LTD Rossignol's idea is to create an unforgettable sporting experience, also thanks to his own equipment. And the Hero line transforms each of us into a little hero. Joy, pleasure, fun to live and share, so that every day can be “Another Best Day”. Hero Elite ST TI is a ski for the true enthusiast, designed for technical on-piste skiers looking for fast SL-style turns. Race-proven Line Control Technology (LCT) eliminates counter-deflection for maximum stability and optimized cornering trajectory. Result? Total control of the line. Distinctive features of the Hero Elite ST TI are the 68mm width at the center and a short sidecut (123-68-104mm), to optimize speed, precision and power. The "V" profile of the new V-TITANAL layer keeps the right line in difficult conditions, while the FULL TITANAL LAYER sheet guarantees maximum energy, power and stability in extreme conditions or at high speed. In addition, the groove along the entire edge ensures a more rigid longitudinal flex. The beech core from PEFC certified forests returns optimal stability and helps reduce the environmental impact of the product life cycle. Finally Hero Elite ST TI will be available in sizes 157-162-167-172 cm, with radii ranging from 11 to 14 meters and will cost 900 euros. In the competitive year par excellence, Rossignol offers a limited edition ski that celebrates the emotions that lead to victory, crystallizing them into colors. The new Hero Limited Edition is developed on the Hero Elite ST, with which it shares the technical characteristics, but has an irresistible livery, under the banner of Red Passion, Blue Serenity, Yellow Happiness and Green Luck. Red Passion represents the passion for running; Blue Serenity means finding the right rhythm and getting into the flow, even when you push yourself to the limit, bringing perfect control into the chaos of racing; Yellow Happiness is the explosion of joy when you reach the finish line; finally Green Luck, because you always need a little luck. From next February and up to the Courchevel / Méribel 2023 World Ski Championships, for each podium achieved by Rossignol athletes in the World Cup, there will be a product draw for all registered participants and owners of HERO Limited Edition skis. Participating is simple: just scan the QR code on your skis, register and enter the special Rossignol HERO Limited Edition platform on the Rossignol website. Hero Limited Edition costs 950 euros. Master, new design and three new spokes It is the ski for top-level skiers looking for strong emotions and for enthusiastic athletes outside the FIS circuit, the one that every professional, from Masters to instructors and coaches, would like to have on their feet. And in fact Rossignol Master has invented a category of its own because it is designed and built like a World Cup ski, but suitable for high-level use on the slopes. The three new Master STs (Short Turns) in an irresistible white background color are now ready for pre-launch, in addition to the four LTs that have a new design. These are tools with a radius of 11, 12 or 13 meters for even more intense carving sensations and to search for unimaginable angles with maximum edge grip in the front part of the ski and precise handling. HI-Speed, the boot of the future The new range of Hi-Speed track boots summarizes in a product dozens of years of know-how and is available in three internal sizes of the plant, 98, 100 and 102 mm. Configuration is the key concept to ensure these boots can fit every skier, to improve performance and comfort at the same time. The result was possible thanks to Generative Design, a unique Rossignol patent that allows the creation of hulls that optimize the thickness of the material, making them more rigid in the lower part and in the rear part of the cuff. The boot is made up of variable thicknesses to optimize weight. The technological heart is called Dual Core, a patented technology that allows the co-injection of plastics. On Hi-Speed the Dual Core Carbon technology was used, with injection of polyurethane reinforced with carbon fibers. This very rigid material strengthens the lower part of the shell and optimizes the resistance to bending and torsion on one side and the rear support on the other, thus increasing the precision of the shoe. The black parts are in PU + carbon, the gray parts in PU. Other technical features are the asymmetrical cuff for better cornering grip and the rotation axis different from the other Rossignol ranges: compared to the All Speed it is positioned 1.2 cm higher (more precision and more stability in cornering, maximum efficiency in edge change); compared to Hero it is 1 cm further forward (easier cornering, more progressive flexion). Last but not least: the best performance comes from the right weight and Hi-Speed Elite weighs only 2,070 grams, Hi-Speed Pro 2,020 grams.
