Skirollo Italian company that deals mainly with the realization of the skiroll frames presented its latest flagship products: Biathlon for skating and Marathon Cup for the classic.

Biathlon is a skating skiroll designed to be mainly used on biathlon tracks but that can very well be used on normal asphalted roads.
The frame, which has a 610 mm wheelbase, is made of light alloy with Ergal forks that are just 3 mm thick and guarantee the product a total weight of just 1600 grams. Just the forks are the most characteristic element of this model. They have a double puncture that allows the use of the wheels until their total consumption, prolonging at least a season the use of the wheels without incurring damage to the frame due to contact with the asphalt.Generally the Biathlon Skirollo is sold with Marwe wheels the most used by biathletes, but can also be combined with 100 mm Roll'X wheels.
The classic Marathon Cup skiroll is designed primarily for technically better athletes. This model has a light alloy frame with steel forks that guarantees a total weight of 2300 grams per pair and a wheelbase of 700 mm. Marathon Cup mainly mounts Marwe wheels from the classic series of rubber (6Cx) and urethano (UCx) and has anti-return on the front wheels.
We have tested both products at the Carnia Arena International Biathlon Center in Forni Avoltri, where we met the national cross-country instructor Mirco Romanin. The company of the Carnic technician we have subjected to a long test the two Skirollo skirolls whose results are available in the video above.
