The announcement for "the award of Architecture and Engineering Services for specialist services relating to the design and construction of the plano-altimetric layout and the refrigeration system of the runway of the Cortina Sliding Center s Cortina d''Ampezzo ".
Tenders must be submitted by September 5th and whoever wins the design work must submit the final project by December 25th and the executive project by March 3rd. Only at this point will the announcement for the execution of the works be issued.
The documents published attached to the announcement also include the technical-economic feasibility plan prepared by Planungsburo Deyle, the company that prepared the project for the tracks of Turin 2006 and Beijing 2022. The study includes a time schedule which had the aim of completing construction for early autumn 2024.
The plan foresaw the definitive project for August 2022 and the executive project for January 2023 in order to start construction of the track in April 2023. We travel, therefore, in the most optimistic of cases with a delay of six months which could postpone the track. homologation of the track planned before the 2024/2025 season which should host the pre-Olympic tests.
