The IBU (International Biathlon Federation) has definitively updated the official order of arrival of the Women's Relay of the Sochi Olympics following the IOC decision to disqualify Olga Zaitseva for doping.

As you will remember, following the investigations following the revelations of Grigory Rodchenkov, the Russian biathlete was disqualified because her tubes were tampered with and in her samples the levels of salts showed an intervention on them to modify the results.
Zaitseva, with Romanova, Shumilova and Vilukhina, had closed the women's relay in second position behind the Ukraine that won the Gold medal. Vilukhina and Romanova were also involved in the revelations of Rodchenkov and the subsequent McLaren report but in their case , although the tubes were found to have been tampered with, there was insufficient evidence of tampering with the samples.
Following this decision, Norway moved up to second place and the Silver medal and the Czech Republic found the podium for the Bronze medal.
