FB Lake Placid 2026
With the first stages of the official process of nomination scheduled for September 2017, start to emerge names and indications of interest. The 'last it arrives, in an informal basis, to Lake Placid which has already hosted the Games in 1932 and 1980.

The shape is amicable because there is, at present, no official announcement of a feasibility study or proposal, there is an official website. The 'single sign came Monday from creating a Facebook page that reveals little about who is behind the proposal.
"Good morning Lake Placid! We officially started our campaign to bring the Olympics in New York State. We have until 2019 to influence the IOC and the US Olympic Committee," reads the first post gaunt; nothing official, so even if the USOC (Olympic Committee stars and stripes) in 2012 when he decided not to apply for the 'Edition 2022 explicitly said he wanted to concentrate his forces for the next Games.
For 2026 they are working with analysis and feasibility studies already officially announced Innsbruck, Switzerland where also the population according to a survey pushing for the candidacy and where Montreux has timidly expressed his interest, and Calgary.
From the front of Lake Placid, the Facebook page promises website, logo, definition of staff and campaign manager shortly. We'll see.
