It is very likely that, as proposed by the IOC and already carried out in Tokyo with the gold pairing Elia Viviani - Jessica Rossi, we will arrive at a pair of standard bearers. In this case the most accredited profile is that of Federico Pellegrino in whose palmares there is an Olympic Silver and five world podiums embellished by the title in the 2017 Sprint.
In fifteen days the conditionals will disappear and we will have the official status of CONI.
