Beijing 2022: René is second in the giant of para sitting, same placement (and third medal in four races) for the Trentino in the visually impaired category.

It is alpine skiing again, exactly like at PyeongChang 2018, to give great satisfaction to the Italian Paralympic movement.
At dawn the third and fourth medals of this expedition arrived at the Beijing 2022 Games, with two silvers starting from the one won in para sitting by René De Sulvestro. Already fourth in combined, the very young South Tyrolean was beaten only by the Norwegian Jesper Pedersen in giant, preceding in turn the Chinese Ziu Liung.
In the visually impaired category, Giacomo Bertagnolli stamped once again paired with his guide Andrea Ravelli: seventh medal at the Paralympic Winter Games, the third in this Chinese edition, with second place in "his" giant for Trentino, which was in command after the 1st heat but was reassembled by that phenomenon that responds to the name of Johannes Aigner, 16 years old able to take the fourth medal in as many races in Beijing 2022 (with the guide Matteo Fleischmann at his side).
The bronze went to the Slovakia of Miroslav Haraus and Maros Hudik.
