Last two days at the Beijing 2022 Games: the medal table sees the Scandinavians ahead of Germany, Italy with 16 medals and important chances on the horizon. Eight titles up for grabs tomorrow.

A Norway already record-breaking, even if the goal was even that of twenty gold medals, which became unattainable also because the Covid problems accused, before the Olympics, in particular by the cross-country skiing squadron, had an impact on some very important races.
As never before at the Winter Olympics, the Scandinavian team today reached 15 titles in a single edition, with Johannes Boe's gem in the biathlon mass start, dominating the medal table ahead of Germany. Italy, dry today, remains at an altitude of 16 with 2 golds, 7 silvers and 7 bronzes, always -4 from the primacy of Lillehammer, but still with important chances.
A total of 8 titles will be awarded on Saturday, starting from 2.30 am Italian time with the final of the men's freeski halfpipe. At 3.00 the last event of alpine skiing with the team event that sees an ambitious Italy, in a race where almost anything can happen. It will then start again at 7.00 with a great event such as the 50 km in TL which closes the men's cross-country skiing program, from 7.50 the final of the men's curling tournament between the Sweden of Edin, who is looking for his first Olympic title, will begin, and Great Britain.
Azzurro who will try to shine in the women's mass start of speed skating with Francesca Lollobrigida among the favorites: from 8.00 the semifinals, also for the men's race, with finals from 9.30. The show of the free program of the artistic couples, as regards figure skating, will start at 10.00 before the last medals of the day to be awarded in the women's bobsleigh, with the two decisive runs starting from 13.00 (at 2.30 in the morning, instead, the first two runs of the men's 4-way bob which will then end on Sunday).
