Yesterday, the director of Bank of China Chen Siging announced in Beijing that the bank will invest RMB 30 billion to support the development of winter sports and the snow and ice industry.

Chen has announced that this investment is expected over the period from 2018 to 2024, trying to involve 30 million families and 100 million Chinese in the sector.
Furthermore, three concrete projects will be elaborated, which will cover, respectively, the promotion and services for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, the spread of winter sports between the general public and the development of the snow and ice industry.
