The Piedmont Regional Council has given the go ahead for an investment of over 2.6 million euros for four interventions in the Cuneo mountains.

Garessio, Bagnolo Piemonte, Entracque and Pontechianale. These are the localities in the province of Cuneo that will receive a loan of 2,630,000 euros after the go-ahead from the Piedmont regional council.
In detail, the sum will be divided for the realization of four interventions: 1.5 million are intended for the renewal of the lifts of the "Garessio 2000" station; 680 thousand euros to Bagnolo Piemonte for the construction of the snow-making system of the "RucaSki" ski resort; 350 thousand euros to Entracque for the construction of the new ski-roll slope, while 100 thousand euros are allocated to Pontechianale for the upgrading of the programmed snow-making system.
"They are resources with which we want to continue to enhance and relaunch one of the most precious naturalistic, cultural, tourist and economic heritages of our Piedmont - explain the President of the Region Alberto Cirio and the Vice President and Councilor for the Mountain Fabio Carosso, together with the Councilor for Tourism Vittoria Poggio and at Sport Fabrizio Ricca - These are necessary interventions that can finally be completed thanks to the resources we put in place. The mountain is a place to be fully experienced and for this to be possible it is essential to offer new services and relaunch existing ones. . All the actions that the Region is implementing have this as their objective: from contributions to favor those who choose to go and live in one of our mountain villages to those to develop the service shops for these to relaunch and enhance the winter system and our ski lifts ".
"This first allocation - they continue - was allocated to projects already in the completion or implementation phase through resources that were to be used by 2021, but other program agreements are already being prepared with which we will intervene in the coming weeks on other necessary projects that affect various areas of the Piedmont area ".
