Six medals for Italy, exactly half of those at stake today in the individual junior categories and cadets of the World Championships in Alpago-Piancavallo ski mountaineering.

In the junior men there was even a blue hat-trick with David Magnini gold, Nicholas Ernesto Canclini silver and Enrico Loss bronze. Gold for Italy also in the corresponding women's race thanks to Julia Murada, silver Russian Ekaterina Osichkina and bronze to the Spanish Julia Casanovas Cuairan.
Two precious metals also coming from the Cadets. Alessandro Rossi's bronze in the men behind the two Swiss Aurélien Gay, gold, and Léo Besson, silver. Among women Samantha Bertolina wins silver, gold goes to the French Justine Tonso and bronze Swiss Caroline Ulrich wing.
