In the men's race historic Italian treble with Robert Antonioli who beat Michele Boscacci and Nadir Maguet that were later embraced after having battled in an exciting manner. Queen Laetitia Roux has caught among women yet another triumph in solitary, the French preceded the Spanish Claudia Galicia Cotrina and Marta Garcia Farres.
The next round of alpine skiing are the World Championships which begin in a dozen days with racing scheduled to Alpago and Piancavallo.
