The municipality of Pontedilegno has obtained funding for the construction of a ski lift that will expand the "Cima Sorti" area.

Despite a season that sees the area closed due to the health emergency, Pontedilegno does not stop and looks to the future.
The departure station is planned in the Vigili area, where a large car park will also be built, and is easily accessible both by the state road and through the intermediate station of the Passo-Tonale ski lift. The project was illustrated in detail in issue 24 of “Adamello Magazine”.
The plant will develop in two sections with an intermediate phase on the second segment. Two modern gondola lifts will therefore connect the Colonia Vigili area to the Western Tonale area in just 11 minutes and 50 seconds. The first "Vigili-Bleis" gondola will have 10 seats and will be able to carry 1800 people per hour in just over 9 minutes, while the second "Bleis - Tonale Occidentale" gondola will have 8 seats and will be able to carry 2000 people per hour. about 2 and a half minutes.
The project also includes the construction of 4 new slopes, variants and a Ski-weg for a total of 8 km.
The Cima Tonale Occidentale-Bleis slope will be a red slope with an average gradient between 26% and 40%. This will be joined by the so-called Ski weg. From the arrival of the chairlift in the Bleis area at Malga Serodine there will be a red run parallel to the Alpine run. The Val dei Lares slope will instead be classified as “black” as it will have an average gradient of over 40%. The route will lead up to the junction to take the Pegrà track to reach Pontedilegno.
Also from the Bleis area you can go down to the valley with the new red Vescasa slope which will connect the Bleis-Vigili section.
The other new route envisaged by the project is a variant of the Alpine slope, with a slope of no less than 40%, with which it will be possible to reach the Brigade with skis on as an overpass will be built on the state road.
