The most adrenaline-fueled bobsleigh race in the world has been taking place every year since 1999 on the Alpe di Mera, in Valsesia. To participate you need a simple plastic bob, a helmet, a little unconsciousness and a pinch of madness.

From the Alpe di Mera, down to Scopello. A very demanding descent, with steep and narrow sections, with the frozen snow and the trees and cliffs that run away at insane speed.The race takes place on a 2 km long ski slope and spread over over five hundred meters in altitude. A walk if you face with two skis on your feet, a prohibitive challenge sitting on a bob.
Begun in the mid-90s by the desire to have fun with a group of friends, over the years the descent to Scopello has become a tradition and an official race, which attracts dozens of participants every year.
