Aprica inaugurates the season with the longest illuminated track in Europe

The longest illuminated slope in Europe will be open twice a week for skiers and once a week for ski touring.

The new winter season will begin on 4 December in Aprica, a ski area in the province of Sondri. For the occasion, the longest illuminated runway in Europe will be inaugurated, the "Superpanoramica" del Baradello. The track, over 6 km long, will be open at night on Thursdays and Saturdays from 19.30 to 23.00, while on Fridays it will be dedicated to ski mountaineering from 18.00 to 22.00 with the chairlift closed. The "Superpanoramica" is wide, it enjoys a beautiful view of the Valtellina and the Rhaetian Alps, and about halfway along the route is the intermediate station of the chairlift to go up again without reaching the town. The price of the evening ski pass is 19 euros. If combined with a day or multi-day ski pass, the evening supplement is instead of 14 euros. It is also possible to buy the "night only" seasonal ski pass at the price of 100 euros. If you also have the seasonal day pass, the price of the night season ticket is 80 euros. During the season there are some promotions. Among these there is the "Free ski" which provides a free skipass for those who stay at least 3 nights in the affiliated facilities: it will be valid from 9 to 26 December and then from 14 March to 18 April 2022. During the holidays, however, the "Magic of Christmas" promotion: children up to 7 years (born after January 2014), accompanied by two adults, will have a free stay and skipass in the affiliated hotels. The promotion will be active from 19th to 26th December. Another offer concerns the "Family Plan": the same family unit who buys two ski passes at full list price, for 3 or more consecutive days, can take advantage of a 50% discount on ski passes of the same duration and period for their children. in the junior age group. The "Family Plan" is also valid for night skiing on the "Superpanoramica": by purchasing two evening ski passes, you are entitled to a 50% discount on the evening ski pass for your children in the junior or baby age group. For the online purchase of the ski pass, the station offers various platforms such as Snowit, Skiperformance, Mypass, Skipass Lombardia pay per use and Alto.Ski. Aprica also offers cross-country ski trails, paths for walking with snowshoes and trails for ski mountaineering lovers.
