Arabba, a Venetian ski resort at the foot of the Pordoi Pass, will begin the winter season 2017/2018 with some novelty.

The Fodom chairlift, which from Pont de Vauz leads to the top of the passageway, will be replaced by a 10-seater cabin that can carry 2800 people per hour. The plant will also be active during the summer to provide bicycles and strollers. The cable car was built by Leitner Ropeways.
From the arrival station of the cable car Portados to the starting point of the chairlift Carpazza there will be a new track called Sellaronda. The track is that of the old Alpenrose Alta track. The 13th track (Ornella Sourasas funnel) will also be enlarged and the snow plant will be renewed.
Finally, on the side of the Marmolada there will be two lifts, capable of carrying 40 people each, to access the cable car to the track.
The planned opening date of the plants is November 25th.

Campitello Matese, sciare in Molise a due ore da Roma
