The new facility, which will replace two old chairlifts, will be inaugurated in November.

For the 2020/2021 winter season, the Verena 2000 ski area in Asiago will present as a novelty the "Forte Verena" six-seater automatic detachable chairlift.
The plant, built by Leitner Ropeways, will cover a 1500 meter journey in less than five minutes for a 365 meter elevation gain and a speed of 5m / s. The hourly flow will be 1800 people per hour for the first year and will increase in subsequent years up to 2200 people per hour.
"The works were carried out thanks to the collaboration of the municipal councils of Roana, Asiago and Gallio with the support of the province of Vicenza which allowed us to insert this strategic project - explains Lorena Frigo, Director of the company Roana Verena 2000 srl and former athlete blue - This is because our station, despite being small, has made it possible in recent years to keep winter tourism alive ".
"We all know that the lack of snow and cold has greatly penalized the mountains in general. This work of synergy between public and private has made it possible to create a work that represents a huge step forward for the Vicenza mountains" concludes Lorena Frigo.
