On the Altopiano dei Sette Comuni there is a new chairlift in Larici-Val Formica

The Veneto Region has endorsed the Convention for the Enhancement of the Ski Area "Larici-Val Formica" and the Municipality of Lusiana, as the leader of the project shared by all the centers of the Altopiano dei Sette Comuni, will be able to away to the design and implementation phase of the skiing extension.

New funds for the redevelopment of the winter sport of the Altopiano are coming from funds for the border municipalities, as the Vicenza Journal reports. The project proposes replacing the old "Cima Larici" ski lift, inactive for technical end of life from the early 2000s, with a four-seater chairlift that will be added to the two already existing and running. The project also envisages the creation of a snow-plowing facility planned to increase the tourist flows of the area, which for some years are subject to important public and private investment. The "Larice" have always been considered "the hidden corner" of the Plateau, with uncontaminated nature, ancient forests and mountain pastures where they are produced among the best cheeses.
