Bardonecchia is preparing for the 2020/2021 winter season with several novelties. In fact, the modernization program of the Melezet area was completed with the two new ski lifts of Bosco and VallonCros. With the conclusion of this project it is possible to offer alpine ski lovers new kilometers of out-of-wood slopes, up to 2500 meters above sea level in an extraordinary landscape context. At the same time, the programmed snow-making system has been implemented, which will allow the slopes to be covered quickly.
In recent times, Colomion has modernized most of the ski lifts in the area. Today, Bosco and VallonCros are added to the investment plan that the company has carried out in recent years: from the 6Gigante dello Jafferau chairlift, passing through the Alpine Coaster in Campo Smith, to the four-seater chairlift of the Sellette.
This winter, skiers will be able to reach the slopes quickly, conveniently and safely, thanks to the installation of new automatic cash machines at the main access points. But not only that, a simpler, faster and more intuitive online sales system will also come into operation, which will allow you to pre-purchase your ski pass without going through the cash desks. To make access to the ski lifts more fluid, the Ski Schools have organized themselves to program lesson times in such a way as to allow all skiers easy access to the perching facilities. In addition, on holidays the opening will be anticipated to allow the Ski Clubs to train regularly. Finally, safety systems will be provided for children, with constant checks on spacing and compliance with regulations.

For years we have been supporting the local economy and tourism with a program of continuous investments, aimed at satisfying the demands of our customers. This year we have built two other lifts: Bosco and VallonCros, which will allow us to increase the number of slopes available to skiers and the km of skiable area at high altitude, in a truly unique landscape. In addition, during all phases of the works, they are local companies were involved and it is important to underline that for our company this is a significant commitment in terms of resources, equal to 2.5 million euros ”declared Nicola Bosticco CEO of Colomion.
The Bardonecchia area also offers the sale of seasonal ski passes this year. The will of the Lifts Company is to spread a message of continuity among its customers with respect to previous years. The primary objective is to allow all local operators, Ski Schools and Ski Clubs, as well as their customers, to be able to spend a winter season under the banner of normality. In fact, from 31 October to 15 November you can buy season passes at the same price as last year. In addition, a 10% discount will be applied to all holders of 2019/2020 season passes.
In the event of total closure of the plants for at least 20 consecutive days due to Covid imposed by the competent authorities, holders of seasonal passes, who have not yet used it for at least 30 days, will be able to withdraw and request a refund of the price with the progressive time thresholds. and of the following amount:

No refunds
In the event that, due to Covid, the lifts cannot be opened at the beginning of the season, a refund of 100% of the price may be requested. The refund must be requested within 20 days of the lockdown due to Covid, so that the season ticket can be disabled. The user can decide to keep their season ticket active to use it in the event of the reopening of the lifts: in this case no refund will be provided.
The seasonal ski pass offers all its holders the opportunity to ski all season in many locations:
-1 free daily to use in one of the following locations: Alagna Valsesia, Bielmonte, Crissolo, Alpe Devero, Limone Piemonte, Macugnaga, Mondolè Ski, Pian Munè, Pian del Frais, Piana di Vigezzo, Prali Ski Area, San Domenico Ski, San Giacomo and Cardini Ski, Sciovie Usseglio.
- 3 free days for Vallorie-Valmeinier,
- 6 free day passes to be used in the Labellemontagne stations of: Orcières 1850, La Bresse-Hohneck, Saint-François Longchamp, Manigod, Risoul 1850, Espace Diamant (Notre-Dame de Bellecombe, Praz sur Arly, Crest-Voland).
- 3 free day tickets to choose from among the stations of the Haute Maurienne Vanoise group: Valcenis, Valfréjus, Aussois, La Norma, Bessans, Bonneval Sur Arc
