The words of the President of the Cervino Monterosa Paradise Committee, Bruce McNeill, on the Ayas - Breuil Cervinia connection project.

In a note signed by the President Bruce McNeill, we read that the Cervino Monterosa Paradise Committee "takes note with favor of the successful assignment of the tender for preparatory and preliminary studies aimed at evaluating the feasibility of the Cime Bianche interval connection, and the reaffirmed political will to carry out these studies, in the wake of the mandate given to the companies Cervino SpA and Monterosa S.p.A. from the EAER 2020 - 2022, a document also voted by the same political forces that in recent months do not miss an opportunity to fuel controversies and instrumental speculations. The accusation in vogue in the last period lies in the assumption that the tender notice refers to the final design, which is denied by the simple reading of the tender documents that can be easily consulted by anyone on the Monterosa SpA website, from which it clearly emerges as in this phase does not require the presentation of a definitive project, but to evaluate and investigate all possible alternatives ”.
The Committee goes on to say: "We are extremely annoyed by the constant attacks that some people totally unrelated to our social fabric who, through social media, press and other channels, continue to spread false information with the sole purpose of discrediting this development project and promoting , on every occasion, their own personal interests, such as the sale of books made by them ".
The note concludes: "It also seems to us at least inappropriate that in this phase of preliminary studies, some political forces try, with such vigor, to influence public opinion, all without taking into consideration the opinion of those who live up here 365 days. year and who have always expressed their support for the realization of a project of fundamental importance for the development of our valleys and of the entire Valle d'Aosta, starting from the popular consultation of 2015 carried out on the three valleys concerned which gave a plebiscitary outcome in favor of the realization of the work ".
