This weekend, Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 October, begins the winter season in Cervinia. The "Breuil-Cervinia, Plan Maison, Cime Bianche Laghi, Plateau Rosà " cableway will be operating and you can ski in Switzerland where the Plateau Rosà 1/2/3, Grenzlift and Gobba di Rollin ski lifts will open.

Cervinia is connected with its plants also in Valtournenche, which opens the winter season on 24 November, with systems open every day until 22 April 2019. Chamois (where the Buisson cableway is always operating) opens on the bridge of Sant '' Ambrogio and dell'Immacolata (7.8 and 9 December) and from 22 December until 31 March 2019 every day. Torgnon will open during the feasts of Sant''Ambrogio and dell'Immacolata (7.8 and 9 December), then on the weekend of 15 and 16 December and from 22 December to 31 March every day.
This year the slopes of Cielo Alto, an important ski area in the Breuil area, will be artificially covered. The snow-producing plant has been upgraded and modernized, serving the stretch of slopes in the Fornet and Plan Maison areas, thus guaranteeing a better bottom for even more compact snow at the beginning and end of the season.
From 27 October to 5 May 2019 the Cervinia facilities will be open every day.

Campitello Matese, sciare in Molise a due ore da Roma
