October 26 Cervinia inaugurates the winter season

Saturday 26 October begins the winter season in Cervinia. You can ski on the Swiss side, on the Plateau Rosa glacier which has excellent snow conditions.

More precisely, the “Trockner Steg - Klein Matterhorn” section, the “Furggsattel” chairlift and the “Plateau Rosà 1 and 3” ski-lifts will be opened. The glacier can be reached with the “Breuil Cervinia- Plan Maison-Cime Bianche Laghi-Platea Rosà” cableway network. The international daily ski pass will cost € 60.50 on weekdays and € 63 on holidays with reductions for the senior categories (adults born before 31/05/1955), teen (children born after 31/10 / 2001 excluded) and junior (boys born after 31/10/2005 excluded). Unlike past years when the facilities only opened on the weekends of October, this season will be open every day until 3 May 2020. During the winter, Cervinia will host various events including the snowboardcross World Cup on December 20th.
