The new plants in Cortina for the 2021/2022 winter season.

For the winter season 2021/2022, Cortina d'Ampezzo will present as a novelty the "Pian Ra Valles-Bus di Tofana" four-seater chairlift, equipped with a protective dome, which will replace the "Pian Ra Valles" (three-seater) and " Bus of Tofana "(two-seater).
The "Pian Ra Valles" three-seater chairlift arrived in front of the Ra Valles cable car station and the "Bus di Tofana" two-way chairlift departed from here, now removed to make room for the new lift. The new chairlift, at the arrival of the cable car, makes an 83 ° bend and continues up to the Bus Tofana. The arrival point no longer corresponds to the old two-seater chairlift, but the section has been shortened by about 100 meters.
At the intermediate station it will be possible to get off for those who wish to ski only on the lower section of the basin.
Journey times will be reduced. Before reaching the top of the Tofana Bus, starting from Pian Ra Valles, it took about 15 minutes. The new plant will take less than 7 minutes and will be able to transport up to 1800 people per hour.
Among the new features there is also the automatically coupled "Son dei Prade - Cianzopé - Bai de Dones" gondola lift which connects the "Tofana" ski area with the "Cinque Torri - Col Gallina - Lagazuoi" ski area.
