On the sidelines of the three days of FIS competitions in Folgaria, an innovative project was presented that ranges from competitions to a production that involves young people and the entire territory.

It starts from the Folgaria slopes, but wants to conquer all of Italy the innovative project fielded by the Polisportiva Alpe Cimbra. A group of senior skiers in the winter season will be engaged in a double challenge: competitive to achieve prestigious results in international FIS and media competitions as actors of a television format on TV throughout Italy and on social media.
The new Alpe Cimbra Racing Team was presented today, on the sidelines of the three FIS days of alpine skiing staged on the Salizzona slope, by the president of the association Ruggero Carbonari and was able to count on the presence of the vicar vice president of the FISI, Angelo Dalpez, by the president of the Fisi of Trentino, Tiziano Mellarini, and by the president of the Apt Alpe Cimbra Nicola Port. “An opportunity to give competitive continuity to a group of interesting young people, who thus have the opportunity to take more sporting satisfaction and, why not, to dream of important stages. A group that is under the aegis of the Trentino Committee and which is also followed with interest by the central Fisi ”, this is the univocal comment of the authorities who attended the meeting.
Replicated also by the two partners who decided to support the project, namely Paolo Rossi of the Extreme Winter Equipment clothing company, who completely dressed the team, as well as Luca Conci representing Bollè helmets and masks. Who will be the protagonists of the Alpe Cimbra Racing Team? Jennifer Paissan, Sara Mattiolo, Giulia Peterlini, Patrick Van Loon, Martin Nardelli, Giorgio Ronchi and Werner Krause. These are seven athletes under 23, who, thanks to this initiative that was so dear to the Lavarone technician Fabrizio Bertoldi, assisted by the coach Daniele Carbonari and by the president of the Alpe Cimbra Ski Team Francesco Da Villa, have the '' opportunity to still play sporting opportunities in Fis competitions.
The under 23 project also has the important endorsement of the Trentino Committee of the FISI, since the head of the alpine sector Marco Peterlini immediately gave the availability to include the boys in the quota for participation in FIS competitions. The start was not easy, also due to the problems related to the health emergency, but the team started training in the autumn to be ready for the first competitions. And unfortunately the first tile on the group has also arrived, given that Giulia Peterlini from Rovereto, registered with the Fiamme Oro Sports Group and included in the media team, was injured in training and ended the season prematurely.
But the other guys are ready to get involved, both against the time trial, but also with testers of the Trentino race tracks. In fact, the Alpe Cimbra Racing Team will be the ambassador of a television project created by the Busacca Video and PegasoMedia Agencies of Trento between one training session and the next, which involves the production of a television format in 18 episodes to discover the tracks race from all over Trentino. An initiative that is supported by the Trentino Film Commission, which immediately believed in this project. Theater of the registrations will be the FISI and FIS approved tracks for the various competitions that will be tested in competitive and tourist version by the skiers themselves, with a sparkling and dynamic but extremely technical and detailed story.
Each episode will be dedicated to a Trentino ski area and will also include in-depth services on the territory and on the technique. The tester team will be on Monte Bondone, Marilleva, Paganella, Pejo, Passo del Tonale, Madonna di Campiglio, Pinzolo, Bolbeno, Polsa di Brentonico, Folgaria, Panarotta, Passo Brocon, Alpe Cermis, Alpe di Pampeago, Passo San Pellegrino, Pozza di Fassa, Canazei and San Martino di Castrozza. The series of programs entitled "Trentino Ski Race" will be broadcast in the Mountain Way television format and will be broadcast from January to April on 40 local televisions throughout Italy, but also on the web channels of some sports sites and on social media, which will be fed by the Trentino athletes themselves. For the boys, therefore, a sporting experience, a television experience and an important life and training experience.
