The town of Forni di Sopra, nestled in the quiet and picturesque Alta Val Tagliamento, between Carnia and Cadore, creates the perfect atmosphere for a family holiday, able to satisfy both those who can not wait to put skis on feet, which those who prefer hiking in the snow. At this ski center you can in fact enjoy the longest run of the entire region, open on Monday and Thursday even at night, which slides along the slopes of Mount Varmost but at the same time, the Davost side offers perfect spaces even for those who are at first weapons.
For those who prefer Nordic skiing then, the Tagliamento trail offers a 13 km route immersed in clearings and pine woods that create a landscape that is nothing short of fairytale. For true lovers of direct contact with nature there are instead numerous ski mountaineering routes.
But you know that for the smallest (and not only) even the smallest snow slope means above all a descent with the sled! And what's better than Fantasy Snow Park where you can do it safely? Here you can find routes dedicated to the descent with the rafts and many activities on the snow to naturally entertain even the big ones!
All these activities are framed by the breathtaking views of the Friulian Dolomites, which became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2009 and which thanks to the homonymous Natural Park can be explored with educational and naturalistic excursions for all ages. Very interesting is also the Wildlife Area, where you can get close to wild animals such as deer, foxes, lynxes and real owls, immersed in their natural environment.
