On Saturday, October 13, the winter season begins in Kitzbühel, a renowned ski resort in Austria. It is one of the first regions without a glacier to open the ski lifts thanks to the snow deposits that are made by KitzSki. In this way, in Kitzbühel it is possible to ski on average 200 days a year.

For the moment, the Resterkogel chairlift will be open to serve the red track of the same name. The area can be reached by the ultra modern Kitzbüheler Alpen Panoramabahn gondola lift. You can ski only on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 October, while from October 20th every day.
This year Kitzbühel the new 10-seater "Comfortline S 10EUB Raintal" cable car and the new "6SB Brunelle" chairlift will be equipped with heated leather seats and protective domes.
