The Espace San Bernardo ski area will expand with new ski lifts and slopes on the French side of La Rosière. In December 2018, the construction of two new six-seater chairlifts on the slopes of Mont Valaisan will be built, bringing skiers to 2800 meters high. The two systems will be positioned one behind the other and the departure of the first chairlift will be located near the Du Fort chairlift.

The news was announced yesterday, May 15, by the French company running the lifts in La Rosière. In addition to the two new chair lifts, five red slopes will also be built to meet the needs of a slightly more experienced skier.
The Espace San Bernardo area currently has 160 km of ski slopes, from the French side to the Italian side (La Thuile), served by 37 ski lifts.

Campitello Matese, sciare in Molise a due ore da Roma
