Summer Skiing

From 29 May the ski lifts open in Les Deux Alpes

Finally, even amateur skiers will be able to return to skiing. From 29 May the lifts will open in Les Deux Alpes.

After a winter that saw the ski slopes closed due to the pandemic, from 29 May the ski lifts of Les Deux Alpes will be back in operation for both athletes and amateur skiers. Until 18 June the price of the daily ski pass will be 36.50 euros, while from 19 June it will be 43.50 euros. New for the 2021 summer season: the beginner ski area which was located at 3400m will be moved to the foot of the funicular at less than 3200m to allow easier access. For mountain bike lovers, two events will be held during the summer season. The first is Mountain of Hell, from 2 to 4 July, one of the most famous enduro mountain bike races. On Friday there will be free practice, on Saturday there will be qualifying and on Sunday the incredible final where about 1000 mountain bikers will compete. The second is E-bike Ultimate Challenge which will be held on 7 and 8 August. It is an e-bike race along mostly downhill routes for a total of 70 km. It will be an opportunity to discover the most beautiful landscapes to explore new places. In the next few days the rules for accessing the glacier ski lifts will be communicated.
