Riserva Bianca Limone Piemonte
In addition to the problems related to the coronavirus pandermy, Limone Piemonte is preparing to face a difficult winter due to the recent flood that caused damage to the area.

Due to the flood that hit the town of Limone Piemonte and the surrounding areas between 2 and 3 October, the Riserva Bianca ski area has decided to cancel the pre-sale of seasonal ski passes for next winter.
The flood caused severe damage, not only to homes but also to the ski lifts. The departure station of the Pernante di Limonetto chairlift was in fact submerged by a long river of mud which also hit the parking lots of the ski lifts on the road. On the slopes, however, the force of the water created huge chasms.
Therefore, an easy winter is not expected for the Piedmontese ski area which lives a lot of French tourists from the Cote d'Azur, as well as from Liguria, and who, with the current situation, will not be able to reach Limone Piemonte due to the landslide that destroyed the Colle di Tenda connection.
