Faced with the problems caused by the pandemic and the government's decision to stop skiing during the Christmas holidays, Livigno has continued to work to ensure, as soon as possible, a ski holiday in complete safety.

When it is allowed to return to skiing, the new winter season of Little Tibet will present some innovations: a series of actions capable of safeguarding the health of workers, residents and visitors, monitoring the situation in the station, protecting visitors who choose to book accommodation in the resort Valtellina.

FREE CANCELLATION POLICY FOR HOTELS, APARTMENTS AND SERVICES
Thanks to the collaboration of the operators and in collaboration with the ATC of Livigno, a cancellation policy plan was created that allows you to book your holiday in Little Tibet with serenity and flexibility. Depending on the formula chosen, participating hotels and apartments are marked with a gold or silver stamp. The structures displaying the gold badge apply the free cancellation policy for any reason throughout the winter season, until May 2021, while hotels and apartments with a silver badge only for the months of December and January *. SKIPASS: FROM ONLINE PURCHASE TO "DRIVE THROUGH" WITHDRAWAL
The online purchase of the Skipass would not be enough to avoid queues and gatherings to collect it at conventional ticket offices. For this reason, Livigno has thought of "Drive Through" collection points: once you have completed the purchase directly online, just get in the car and go with the receipt to one of the points set up, where you can collect your Skipass in complete safety, without get off your car and without creating queues and gatherings.
MOLECULAR SWABS AND RAPID ANTIGEN TESTS
It is important to monitor the health situation, day after day. To meet this important need and thus protect the health of workers, residents and visitors, Livigno has equipped itself with molecular swabs and rapid unsanitary tests which can be subjected to in emergency or uncertainty situations. In addition to contributing to the constant monitoring of the health situation in the locality, this will allow for an immediate response without going to the centers outside the valley. In the case of tourists who test positive, Livigno has already organized itself to guarantee safe places where guests can spend the mandatory quarantine period.
NOT ONLY SKIING: ALTERNATIVE ACTIVITIES TO LIVE THE SNOW IN SAFETY
To reduce crowds and queues near the lifts and along the paths already available for activities without skis, Livigno has decided to encourage all those activities that do not require the use of the ski lifts and which have always been much of the winter offer of the Piccolo TIbet. Among these, in addition to cross-country skiing, practicable along the ring set up right in the center of Livigno and for a month already crossed by the skis of amateurs and professionals, there are also fat bikes, ice skating at the Ice Arena, excursions on horseback or by snowmobile, managed routes for ski mountaineering and snowshoes. In the last few weeks, the number of paths and managed routes has been implemented, to be covered in total autonomy thanks to the indications and signs, without booking group excursions or requiring the presence of an Alpine Guide. For those who prefer to admire the Livigno landscape while relaxing to the rhythm of peaceful walks, there is the Winter Trail, a 20 km path in beaten snow that starts from the heart of Livigno and winds through the entire valley. There are also many activities for the little ones: the big news is the new funpark, under construction right near the town center, where you can have fun sliding on the fresh snow with sleds and inflatables.
CHECK & GO: TO ORGANIZE EVERY EXCURSION TO THE BEST
Great success of the summer season that has just passed and re-proposed for the winter is Check & Go, a simple, fast and intuitive way to choose the best path for your excursion even before departure. At the entrance to the most popular paths during the winter, panels have been placed depicting a QRcode: every hiker just needs to frame it to check-in on the path and the MyLivigno App and the official website will do the rest. In fact, even before putting on their backpack, hikers will be able to access the dedicated section of the App or the dedicated page livigno.eu/check-and-go to check the turnout on the different routes at any time and choose the one with less affluence and more suitable for their excursion, to enjoy the snow of Little Tibet in complete tranquility.
LIVIGNO WINTER CHALLENGE: REACH THE LESS KNOWN SPOTS
Little Tibet is known to most for the wide choice and variety of trails and paths, for its 115km of slopes and for the abundance of open and unspoiled spaces to be explored. For this reason, Livigno has decided to take travelers and sports lovers to discover little-known spots and places. A way to make the nature that surrounds it more and more known, but also to take advantage of new paths and make those already known less crowded and more accessible. But it doesn't stop there! The places to reach will soon be available on the My Livigno APP: once you have chosen and reached one of the spots, you will earn valuable points, assigned based on the difficulty of the route, to participate in the Livigno Winter Challenge. Up for grabs, weekends to experience Livigno in the summer, one-week stays and ski passes to be used for the winter season 2021/2022 and many other prizes offered by the sponsors and partners of Livigno.
