Macugnaga is preparing to renew the look of its lifts. The program agreement with the Piedmont Region will be signed in autumn for the modernization of the ski area.

The remake will also affect the slopes. € 4.5 million are the funds that the Region has decided to allocate and that are part of a larger package that the Piedmontese government chaired by Sergio Chiamparino has decided to invest. The important announcement came on Friday afternoon at the ribbon cutting of the annual San Bernardo Fair.
But for Macugnaga, the dream remains to connect its plants with the other Italian side of Monte Rosa, that of Alagna Valsesia. A very ambitious project in which the mayor Stefano Corsi believes a lot and for which he has already started working with the Valsesian company Monterosa 2000.

Campitello Matese, sciare in Molise a due ore da Roma
