Ski area Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta, on November 19th early opening in the Grostè area in Madonna di Campiglio

In the SkiArea Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta Val di Sole Val Rendena everything is ready for departure. On the weekend of 19 and 20 November 2022, all ski enthusiasts will be able to return to enjoy the tracks of the SkiArea with the early opening in the Grostè area in Madonna di Campiglio. From November 26, 2022, the opening will be continuous until April 16, 2023 and it is expected to open connections with Folgarida Marilleva and Pinzolo starting from December 3, 2022.

DYNAMIC PRICES: THE FIRST SKI AREA IN ITALY To facilitate the customer, the SkiArea, also this year as last year, has adopted the dynamic pricing formula, the first ski resort in Italy. The price of the daily and multi-day ski pass varies according to seasonality, use and the time of ticket purchase, a bit like airline tickets. If purchased in advance and online, the ski pass will have an advantageous price, discounted up to 20% compared to the ticket bought at the ticket office on the day of use. The best price also includes the "Protected Skipass" insurance which will reimburse the skier if, at the last moment, he has to give up the day of skiing. The reasons are contemplated in the insurance policy, which also includes the contagion from Covid-19 and the fiduciary quarantine. STARPASS and SEASONAL PRE-SALE Starpass is the first seasonal Pay Per Use and is valid in all ski resorts of the SkiArea: Folgarida Marilleva, Madonna di Campiglio, Pinzolo and Pejo. The ski areas can be accessed directly and the best rate will be charged at the end of the day. Once the first spending threshold has been reached or exceeded, an 80% discount will be automatically applied starting from subsequent skiing. By continuing to ski and reaching the second goal, you will be able to ski for free. For the Superskirama and Folgarida Marilleva season tickets, the presale has already begun: from today, Thursday 27 October, it will be possible to purchase seasonal passes for the winter directly from the SKI.it website. Also for this year, promotional initiatives such as the December Free Skis are confirmed - and visible on the website. THE NEWS Many new features await the users of the slopes of the Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta Skiarea that continues to invest in the tracks and facilities in order to offer an unforgettable experience to their guests. Among these, the new Genziana slope in Madonna di Campiglio, which widens in the final stretch becoming easier to use. An obligatory passage for all skiers heading to the Folgarida Marilleva area, the track was characterized by a very steep last stretch with a limited width of only 30 meters. Now, after the intervention, the slope has become wider up to 70 meters while the maximum slope has gone from 50 to 30-35% in order to make the return to Folgarida Marilleva easier and safer for the large influx of skiers. In the Folgarida Marilleva area, therefore, work continued on the construction of the Val Mastellina storage basin near the top station of the Daolasa cable car. The reservoir, which is strategic in order to ensure fast snow coverage in the Folgarida and Marilleva area, is nearing the finish line and, once completed, will allow to feed the programmed snowmaking system by producing snow already in the initial phase of the ski season. At the same time as the construction of the basin, with a capacity of about 180,000 cubic meters and which draws water from the derivations on the Meledrio stream and from the derivation on the Rio Val Panciana, the upper section of the Mastellina slope and the Rocce and Panoramica slopes were refurbished. Having available the excavated material in excess from the construction of the basin, it was in fact decided to intervene with widening and re-profiling works of the skiable surface also on the entire first piece of the Mastellina slope, up to the area downstream of the departure station of the Mastellina three-seater chairlift with the same name. In Pinzolo too, work has been done to make the programmed snowmaking system more efficient by replacing the snow guns along the Tulot slope and others serving the Brenta and Rododendro tracks.
