The company Artesina Spa won the tender for the construction and management of the Rocche Giardina chair lift, which will link Artesina with Prato Nevoso, and which will replace the old ski lift that has been in operation for 40 years,

"The tender included a two-seater chairlift - said Paolo Palmieri, owner of the Aresina Spa - but we are asking, as an improvement, the construction of a four-seater chairlift with fixed depreciation and boarding mat".
The chairlift will have the same track as the ski lift: the driving station will be built downstream, at an altitude of 1578 meters, at the edge of the Mirafiori runway, while the landing will be at an altitude of 1928 meters, in the same area where the ski lift arrived, with a length of approx. 1366 meters for a vertical drop of 350 meters.
The new system will improve the connection with the Mondolèski area, allowing easier access for beginners and snowboarders.
The start of the work is scheduled for the month of July and should finish by the beginning of the next ski season.
