These days work is underway on the new 8-seater Leitner single-cabin cableway, with external ski-carrier connecting the village of Champoluc with the village of Crest from which the ski lifts depart to reach the Monterosa Ski area.

The previous line has been completely dismantled. The new line will be slightly turned to the north and will be extended by a few tens of meters.
In the valley station there will be ticket offices and administrative offices, while the top station will be positioned in such a way as to create an interchange area with the Crest-Alpe Ostafa III gondola lift.
The new gondola lift will have a maximum hourly capacity of 2400 people, compared with 1800 for the old gondola lift, and the journey time will be 3'09 ".
The plant will also have the function of Local Public Transport as it connects Champoluc with the high-altitude villages of the Municipality of Ayas.

Campitello Matese, sciare in Molise a due ore da Roma
