2011/2012 season at the Monterosa Ski, new cable-Stafal Gabiet

Monterosa Ski has prepared a great news for the 2011-2012 winter season: open the doors of the new-Stafal Gabiet, a jewel suspended between the peaks of Monte Rosa, which will combine the technical care typical of the area to the innovative design of a modern that integrates perfectly with the picturesque landscape. Always, in fact, the lifts are the pride of the district, a mix of tradition and cutting-edge technology.

Funded by 10 million and 900 thousand euros from the Aosta Valley in progress by Monterosa and the Temporary Road Construction Companies Leitner-BGF, the cable car is an ambitious and important for the district, which has to care about the safety and comfort of its skiers. The gondola connects the town and Stafal Gabiet at Gressoney-La-Trinité, constituting an important means of connecting with the funifor Salati-Indren and, with the Valley of Alagna. The highly technological and comfortable for passengers, consisting of 67 booths, stands for the speed, efficiency and frequency of service. Vehicles, in fact, are continuing at a distance of 86.4 meters of each other in a time interval of 14.4'', for a nominal maximum capacity of 2,000 people per hour.

The altitude varies from 1821.18 meters above sea level at the valley station to 2307.88 meters above sea level the mountain station, ensuring quick and safe transport at high altitude skiers and snowboarders, with the possibility to admire the lush scenery of the Monte Rosa and expect to reach the slopes and snow park for their descent and evolution.
