It seemed that the Panarotta Artificial Swimming Pool did not work. But now there seems to be agreement.

He was the tourist councilor of the Province of Trento Michele Dallapiccola announcing decisive steps on the road to the completion and strengthening of the Memorandum of Understanding which in mid-2015 led Trentino Development to shell out 600 thousand euros to buy the ski lifts of Panarotta, separating the property from the management of the same, now in the hands of Panarotta srl.
"The relaunch is articulated on a three-year plan - explains Dallapiccola on ladige.it -. Trentino Development has set aside the funds for the revision of the Malga Mountain Granda-Cima Esi chair lift, which has over 44 years of life, and for the creation of the ski boot that allows the launch of the ski. The estimated expenditure is about 400 thousand euros. "
"In the second year, 2018 - continues Dallapiccola - will be implemented the modernization of the chairlift and will be realized the sledge track (the Asuc of Pergine has already provided the cut of the timber needed) and ski-weg". But it is 2019 the year when the artificial snow basin that the Communes insist on could be realized.
"The possibility is at the studio and next week there will be an inspection at the Panarotta of ropeway service officers to test the best localization - says Dallapiccola -: three are the underlying hypotheses to deepen, with the drawing of water from the rio Rigolor thanks to the new works taken last year. "
"The estimated cost is about 1 million," concludes the assessor. But I would like to say that the basin is the roof of a house that must first have foundations and walls: and it is the previous investment - the school camp, the playground, the toboggan run - that will make Panarotta that gym for the skiing and the recreational area for families that we have been designing in these years. Regarding the guaranteed snow, however, I would like to remind you that last year with the water of the Rigolor and the cannons available (eight, ndr) snowed the Malga for the whole season: sure, if we want to run also the Rigolor then the basin is needed, but everything else has to be done first. "
