Summer Skiing
After a very long period with high temperatures without precipitation and with freezing temperatures above 4400 meters, the Stelvio also gives up. Sifas announces this morning the temporary suspension of skiing on the Glacier.

On the surface of the Livrio glacier, which extends from the 2,758 meters of the Stelvio Pass to the 3,450 meters of Monte Cristallo, SIFAS carries out daily monitoring. This morning, after a period of very high temperatures and after a winter and a spring lacking in precipitation, the company's technicians could only take note of the situation and communicate to all operators the closure of the summer skiing.
At the moment only the cable cars for pedestrians will remain in operation.
At Sifas, however, they say they are confident that with the first disturbances the situation will improve and that the tracks for training can also be reopened.
