The Stelvio postpones the opening of the ski lifts to 12 June.

Sifas, the company that manages the Stelvio ski lifts, announced a little while ago that the opening of the summer ski season has been postponed to 12 June.
More precisely, on the company's website we read: "Due to the suspension of reconnaissance activities, independent of our will, with great regret we are forced to postpone the opening date of the ski lifts to next June 12. Updates will follow".
It seems that there have been some setbacks for what concerns the testing of the two cable cars and the revision by the motorization. It is not yet known whether it will be possible to climb the part of the glacier by means of alternative means to cableways and guarantee skiability.
Initially the opening of the plants was scheduled for 29 May.
