"I Light Pila". The pink torchlight procession returns to fight breast cancer on 8 February

The eighth edition of "I Light Pila" will be held in the Aosta Valley area for breast cancer.

On February 8, the solidarity event for the fight against breast cancer returns, "I Light Pila", the pink torchlight procession now in its eighth edition which aims to raise funds for the Susan G. association. Komen Italy. With skis, snowboard, on foot or with snowshoes. Everyone can participate in the torchlight procession. Armed with a pink LED light torch, adults and children will travel down the snow, forming the luminous river on the white mantle that brightens the dusk with pink. The party will continue in the evening in the huts and in the rooms all decorated with special menus, music and shows. The ski village located in the Gorraz area, the center of the Pila area, is the starting and arrival point of the torchlight procession, where donations will also be collected to participate and LED torches will be distributed. The event is directed by the Espace de Pila Tourist Consortium, together with Pila s.p.a., with the ongoing and essential support of the Municipality of Gressan, in favor of Komen Italia. Based on volunteering, Komen Italia works to generate economic resources to be allocated to its own projects and those of other associations engaged in the fight against breast cancer. 200 volunteer ski instructors will also participate in the torchlight procession. There will be six routes to go down to the valley depending on the hut that will be chosen as the starting point. A donation is also possible for those who cannot or do not want to ski, but want to participate with their own contribution. The minimum donation is 15 euros for adults and 8 for minors under 14 accompanied by an adult.
