Direttissima, Gran Pista and Lupo: here the tracks of the Roccaraso juniores Championship

"Direttissima". The track for the downhill and super-G has its origin located at the exit of the front cabin compared to six places "Monte Pratello" single system used to transport athletes and technical personnel for both the race and for the training of this side of the mountain. About half of the racy is the first step, called "Roccette", with a landing place on the bend of the "Spoon". After a series of curves in the mean slope (16 to 35%) will enter into a jump counterslope spectacular called "looping". Here is provided for detection of the second intermediate time thereafter another set of curves that lead to the jump "Boomerang", just in front of the finishing line which, both for the descent that for the super-G, is located at an altitude of 1430 meters. The total length of the route of descent of 1765 meters, with an elevation gain of 600 and an average slope of 35%, while in the super-G race is the length of 1435 meters with a height difference of 460.

Track "Lupo" (Wolf). The departure of the giant is located at 1950 meters, a steep slope, followed by a slope of about 100 meters. With a long bend to the right you enter the central part is very technical, all on the maximum slope and steep gradient. At the end of this wall you get into a plan for about 15 seconds, and then tackle the last very marked change of slope which introduces athletes to the place of arrival in the racy 1570 meters. The gradient of the track is equal to 380 meters, a length of 1250 meters, with an average gradient of 30%.

"Gran Pista". Initially, the "Lupo" was to accommodate the slalom, but were later shifted to the steeper slope and challenging the "Great Ice" of Pizzalto, also called "Direttissima" because of its vertical drop. Overall it has a length of 1500 meters and a vertical drop of 464. On this slope will be played, the team event with the formula of the parallel.
