On Friday 23 October the ski lifts in Solda will open. For the new winter season, the district will adopt anti-covid measures.

Thanks to the snow that has fallen in recent days, from tomorrow, 23 October, the winter season will begin in Solda all'Ortles, the Val Venosta ski area that has 44 km of ski slopes.
To cope with the coronavirus emergency, the ski area will adopt some measures:
The capacity of the Sulden cable car will be reduced from 111 people to a maximum of 72, i.e. 66% of the capacity. You can only go up wearing the mask;
The chairlifts and the gondola lift will ensure fast transport with a safe distance.
The ski lifts will offer children and beginners a safe and comfortable ascent option with a safe distance
The body temperature of the plant employees will be measured every day
Each skier will have around 500 m² of ski area available
No restrictions for the same family / household in the small cabins and chairlifts
Minimum distance of 1 meter from people who do not live in the same family
Whenever it is not possible to maintain the minimum distance, wear a mask
The ski buses will run with the legally permitted capacity. More buses will be used during particularly busy periods. The employees of the ski buses will be regularly tested.
Ski instructors, employees and ski school assistants will be tested regularly. Groups will only consist of numbers of adults or children allowed
Upon request, guests can be tested on site within 24 hours of arrival. The tests will be carried out by appointment
