It will be called 007 ELEMENTS the new film installation dedicated to James Bond, built in the belly of the mountain of Gaislachkogl in Sölden a few steps from the Italian border.

The name "007 ELEMENTS" represents the 7 galleries where the fantastic world of James Bond 007 will be represented. The installation will focus in particular on the last production "Specter" and on the scenes that were shot in Sölden, but we will also see of the chapters dedicated to the 24 productions. The project was born from a collaboration between creative director Neal Callow (also art director of Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall and Specter) and Tino Schaedler, the creative director of Optimist Inc. and his team. Together they have created an emotional journey that will take the visitor to explore the fascinating world of Bond through the senses. At a height of 3050 m, a two-storey building of 1300 m² has been created, set in the mountains, with a very low environmental impact. In fact, the building will only be visible after passing through a tunnel. The two main rooms offer spectacular views of the mountains and valleys around. Thanks to the brilliant combination of advanced technique and contemporary architecture, the new 007 ELEMENTS attraction promises a strong experience in the high mountains. The installation, built in the middle of a breathtaking nature, will be accompanied by a particular soundtrack, which will make it all dramatic and exciting. The building, which will host the fantastic world of James Bond, is currently under construction and was designed by the Obermoser architecture firm. The award-winning Tyrolean architect Johann Obermoser has built many public and private buildings since 1983. His projects also include Ice Q - the futuristic restaurant at the top of the Giaslachkogl - and the Gaislachkoglbahn and Giggijochbahn gondola lifts.
007 ELEMENTS is a project realized by EON Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) (which holds all the rights of the James Bond films) and the Sölden plants.
AN ALPINE VALLEY BETWEEN ACTION AND RELAXATION
Go by wave: BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN
The Ötztal is not only known among road cyclists for its legendary Ötztaler Radmarathon, but is also popular with mountain bikers. And since the valley adapts to the trends, the BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN has been inaugurated, offering the best for singletrails enthusiasts. In the center of Sölden there are two pumptracks, which are used to train this specialty. The proposals of the BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN are constantly growing, in 2018 we reach a new level. Thanks to the support of the ski lifts it is possible to reach the new "Ollweite Line" and "Lettn Line" routes, dedicated to experienced mountain bikers. In addition to the BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN in the valley we find many proposals for lovers of two wheels. Guests can rent or purchase equipment in specialized sport centers (with the ÖTZTAL PREMIUM CARD they get discounts)
Engines at height
The highest motorcycle museum in Europe is located in Hochgurgl and is housed in a design complex called Top Mountain Crosspoint. Here, in addition to the museum, there is the valley station of a very modern gondola lift, the toll station of the alpine road towards the Passo Rombo, as well as a modern restaurant. The museum houses a collection of 230 rare motorcycles. Periodically the museum hosts temporary exhibitions. A visit is always worth it!
Adventure and total suspense
"Vertical adventure" in the 20 climbing parks with over 750 itineraries, breathtaking vie ferrata and the river Ache, which welcomes different types of sports, such as canoeing and rafting. But there's more: a complete range of outdoor activities is available at AREA 47 (entry to the WATER AREA is free for owners of the ÖTZTAL PREMIUM CARD). This area has an area of ​​6.5 hectares, is located at the entrance of the valley and is a giant adventure park. It includes several sports activities related to the world of water, outdoor, adventure. Also present accommodation, catering and entertainment area ..
Be good body and spirit
The Ötztal adventure also offers more relaxing aspects. Such as the AQUA DOME, the spa in Längenfeld, which is freely accessible to owners of the ÖTZTAL PREMIUM CARD. The thermal water, which flows directly into the village, fills the suspended design basins of the center every day, considered one of the most beautiful in Austria. The Aqua Dome also offers a huge area dedicated to saunas and relaxation and for children there is a new dedicated space. In the valley you can also find the Piburger See bathing lake, surrounded by breathtaking nature that invites you to relax.
