A stone's throw from the Brenner pass, very easy to reach from Italy, the Stubai Glacier opens on 8 October. A place much loved by the Italian public especially for the Ponte dei Santi, when the conditions are almost optimal and it is possible to ski in winter conditions. For those who want to improve their technique, Jam Session courses on the glacier are open, which over the last 15 years have brought thousands of Italians to know the town of Tyrol.

For the opening weekend, slopes number 7 and 9 will be available, served by the Gamsgartenbahn cable car, the Rotadl chairlift and the Daunferner ll ski lift. However, the Stubai Glacier ski area can count on as many as 26 ski lifts with 35 slopes that will open as the season comes to life. The altitude of the skiable area reaches 3,210 meters above sea level, which guarantee optimal conditions with the possibility for freeriders to often find wonderful natural powder snow.
But a holiday in the Stubai is not just skiing, Innsbruck is only 45 minutes from the slopes and spending a few days in the Tyrolean resort, you cannot help but visit the capital of Tyrol, a young and human-sized city, full of surprises and contrasts. In addition to a classic walk in the city center, it is possible to organize numerous cultural excursions, for example by visiting the Hofburg Imperial Palace or Ambras Castle.

Chiesa Valmalenco
