The weekend of March 25/26 will be held in Madesimo, in Valchiavenna, an entirely dedicated to freeride festival in all its forms in which beginners and experts will discuss with industry professionals learning to face off-piste skiing or improving their skills in fresh snow.

The proposed activities are numerous: tours in freeride and backcountry with teachers and guides, safety camp to learn the techniques of prevention and risk management in the mountains, camp experience base to spend an unforgettable night in a base camp on the snow. All topped off with après ski, parties, concerts and much more.
The Alpine Guides will be on hand for safety courses, risk assessment, technique on steep terrain, hike freeride with the use of the lifts and day trip with sealskins.
The Ski Instructors of Skiarea Valchiavenna held a practical-theoretical course on downhill Freeride, accompanying groups of skiers on the slopes of the ski area techniques.
It also provided an introduction course to speedriding, for those unfamiliar with it is a specialty that combines ski to a small paraglider, making long "flight" gliding to the first change of slope.
The snowboard instructors with specialization splitboards held a practical-theoretical course on climbing techniques and descent with Splitboard, accompanying the persons concerned.
There will also be a test area dedicated to the world of manufacturers of tools with freeride ski, telemark, snowboard, splitboards, apparel and accessories. Alll'edizione last year was attended by 42 companies with about 1,000 products to be tested.

Campitello Matese, sciare in Molise a due ore da Roma
