Saslong Ski Resort – Val Garde
The Val Gardena - Alpe di Siusi ropeway operator consortium will have talks with the representatives of the Saslong Company next week.

After the news appeared last night on the facebook page "Saslong Ski Resort - Val Gardena" which states that the company Funivie Saslong Spa of Selva di Val Gardena will not open the three ski lifts for the 2020/2021 season, the Consorzio Esercenti a rope Val Gardena - Alpe di Siusi takes a stand and replies with a press release as follows:
“The Val Gardena - Alpe di Siusi Ropeway Consortium has learned of the unilateral decision of the Saslong Company not to be able to open the ski lifts during the winter season 2020/2021. While acknowledging the legitimate reasons behind this decision, the Consortium would like to underline that it is the decision of a consortium member with respect to a total of 41 installers who manage the cableways in the Val Gardena - Alpe di Siusi area. All the remaining ski lifts and hundreds of collaborators are working hard to allow the lifts to open as soon as conditions allow.
Precisely because public health is an absolute priority for us, we have made a great effort in recent months, together with all the other interlocutors in the tourism sector, to build a system of rules that would allow the practice of skiing in the most sincere way possible, during this winter season. We have also taken note and contributed to implementing with a sense of absolute responsibility, also all the decisions that have been taken by the political and health authorities with regard to closures.
In the next few days, however, further talks will take place with the representatives of the Saslong Company to verify together to find a shared solution that allows all the lifts in the Val Gardena - Alpe di Siusi ski area to be able to go into operation with the start of the winter season 2020/2021 ".
