South Tyrol, from 8 November only athletes can ski

The President of the Province of Bolzano, Arno Kompastcher, has signed a new ordinance which provides for further urgent measures in South Tyrol for the prevention and management of the epidemiological emergency from Covid-19.

Arno Kompastcher has determined that starting from 8 November 2020, the lifts in the ski areas can only be used for training. The latter are only allowed to athletes who participate in international or national championships and / or competitions in the current year. Therefore, the two ski areas of South Tyrol currently open, Val Senales and Solda, will be accessible only by athletes from Sunday. Just today, Val Senales made the news known with a press release on the personal facebook page: "Dear friends, dear friends, we have just learned that our ski area will continue to remain open, but from 8 November onwards only for ski clubs and for training groups preparing for national and international competitions. However, we hope to see you again and to be back on our slopes soon for new exciting adventures on the snow! In the meantime, we hope to look to the future with confidence and optimism, behaving responsibly and above all ... staying healthy! "
